🔍 About the Team: The Manchester Giants Juniors program is more than just a basketball club—it’s a Community Interest Company fuelled by passionate volunteers. With seven teams in nine leagues spanning from Under 12’s to Under 18’s, they compete in Basketball England Regional and National Leagues, Tournaments, and Competitions.
This CIC focuses on inclusivity, drawing players from open trials across Greater Manchester, with a strong emphasis on talent and potential regardless of background. The commitment extends beyond the court, with teams training a minimum of twice per week, incorporating Strength & Conditioning Training for physical development and injury prevention.
What sets them apart is their dedication to personal development, offering courses and training to shape the next generation of Coaches, Referees, and Table officials. Partnering with Xaverian College in the Manchester Giants Academy Programme opens pathways to higher education.
🌱 Vision for the Future: The Manchester Giants Juniors envision consistent growth and development, aiming to become the largest and most successful National League basketball club in the Northwest. They aspire to see their teams regularly making it to the final fours of the NBL.
The program recognises the unique needs and support required for overall personal development, dependent on each young player’s background. The program is committed to breaking down barriers, which extends beyond the court, focusing on developing confidence and communication skills. The aim is to empower their young athletes to overcome obstacles and create a pathway towards a future goal.

Making Dreams a Reality: Sponsoring London Legends’ Under-18 Team in the Under Armour Future Circuit
Based in Peckham, London Legends is more than just a basketball club. The organisation uses basketball as a tool to help young people prepare for life, build confidence, and develop important skills. We are proud to support their mission and help make their dreams come true by sponsoring their under-18 team’s participation in the prestigious Under Armour Future Circuit in the USA in 2023.
This event was a tremendous opportunity for the Legends, as they were the first UK basketball club ever to receive an invite to compete in a premier Amateur Athletic Union event. With our sponsorship, we contributed to the overall budget, ensuring that all 10 young people who made the trip had the chance to participate fully. The team played against high-level competition in 10 games over 10 days, travelled across two different states in the USA (Texas and Arizona), and experienced training and living in an elite environment.
A Journey of Growth and Success
From broadening their understanding of different cultures to creating athletic and academic opportunities, the tour with the London Legends has been a catalyst for growth and success. Not only has it raised the profile of the team, but it has also connected our young people with others worldwide through the power of sports. The success of the competition has resulted in the London Legends being recognised as the only international flagship program for Under Armour outside of North America, securing their participation in future events. Additionally, five young individuals were identified for student-athlete scholarships in the USA during the tour, opening doors for their bright future.
It has truly been a pleasure supporting Legend’s journey to success and witnessing the remarkable impact sports can have on young people’s lives.
Accredit had previously sponsored Legends during the Under-18 Men’s Sure Shot National Cup in early 2023. This was another significant moment for the team as it marked their first-ever appearance in the National Cup Finals.

One of our other notable partnerships is with the English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA). Since 2022, Accredit Solutions has been providing our accreditation system for all of ESSA’s swim meets and championships.
ESSA plays a vital role in promoting the teaching of swimming in schools throughout England. They organise national championships for swimming, water polo, and diving, providing opportunities for young athletes to showcase their talent and potentially pursue a career in the sport. ESSA also supports international aquatic athlete pathways by taking teams abroad for competition, further nurturing talent and fostering global connections.
Our partnership with ESSA aligns with our core mission of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to enjoy sports. By streamlining the accreditation process, we enable ESSA to maintain a safe and secure environment while giving participants the chance to shine. ESSA has been able to implement clearly visible accreditation badges for all events, making it easier to identify participants and ensuring the safety and security of everyone involved.

One shining example of our commitment to grassroot sports is our sponsorship of The Jets Football Club.
The Jets Football Club provides a safe and nurturing environment for boys and girls aged 5-8 to immerse themselves in the joy of football. Every Saturday, this dynamic group of talented young athletes takes to the field at Royston Park in Carshalton as part of the Rascals Division.
In 2019, Accredit Solutions came forward to sponsor The Jets by covering the cost of new football strips for each player during the 2019/20 season. This sponsorship ensured that the players felt united as a team while instilling a sense of pride and belonging.

We firmly believe that early exposure to sports not only brings health benefits but also teaches lifelong skills of team spirit and sportsmanship.
