Location –London / UK Remote

Job Type: Full-time remote based, fully supported

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a mid-level .NET Developer to develop and maintain robust scalable and high performance applications. They will need to demonstrate evidence of problem-solving and good coding skills. This is a great opportunity to secure a role within an exciting, rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:

Application Development

  • Full Stack .NET Development using C#, MVC and SQL Server
  • Develop and implement software applications using .NET frameworks (.Net Core ASP.Net MVC, Razor and Web API)
  • Write clean scalable and maintainable code
  • Integrate third part API’s and services into the application

Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure developers adhere to best practices and coding standards
  • Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Ability to write unit and functional tests

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Contribute to the professional development of team members

Documentation

  • Document development processes, technical specifications, and updates to existing systems.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the team lead or manager.

Skills:

Technical Expertise:

  • Excellent in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API skills
  • Some exposure to Blazor would be preferred.
  • Experience of working with ORM’s such as Entity Framework and Dapper.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing TSQL.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity of working with Signal R and Hangfire or similar technologies

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to communicate well with a team remotely, attaining all necessary information to perform your tasks
  • Have a proactive approach to your work
  • A helpful manner when dealing with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to report to the team in a clear and concise fashion

Preferred Skills:

  • An interest in understanding and optimising user experience
  • Experience in working with remote teams
  • An interest in sports and major events
