🔍 About the Manchester Jr Giants:
The Manchester Giants Juniors is not just a basketball club, it’s a Community Interest Company (CIC) powered by passionate volunteers dedicated to nurturing talent. The program supports seven teams across nine leagues, including Basketball England’s Regional and National Leagues, tournaments, and competitions.
The Giants Junior program emphasises inclusivity, offering open trials to players from across Greater Manchester. Players are selected based on potential and talent, regardless of background. Each team trains at least twice per week, with a focus on Strength & Conditioning to support physical development and injury prevention.
What truly sets the Giants apart is their commitment to holistic personal development. In addition to basketball, the club provides opportunities for players to train as future coaches, referees, and table officials. Through their partnership with Xaverian College in the Manchester Giants Academy Programme, they also create pathways to higher education for their players.

The Manchester Jr Giants are on a mission to become the largest and most successful National League basketball club in the North West. They aspire to see their teams consistently advance to the final fours of the National Basketball League (NBL).
However, their goals extend beyond on-court success. The program is deeply committed to breaking down barriers, helping young players develop confidence, communication skills, and the tools they need to succeed in life. Each player is supported based on their individual needs, empowering them to overcome obstacles and work towards their future aspirations.
